Re Storation
Who are we?
RE-storation is a social enterprise managed by the charity West End Impact.
Peter the project manager, has many years of experience in Furniture restoration and French polishing and has previously carried out work for the Odd Chair Company. He has over 17 years of experience in the building materials trade and wants to pass on his skills to others, especially the unemployed.
What do we do?
We buy and receive donations of furniture from various sources making the project sustainable and environmentally friendly. Peter and a team of volunteers restore the second hand furniture to an excellent standard for re-sale. This provides opportunity for people to buy good quality second hand restored furniture and the volunteers gain new skills, confidence and some qualifications that could help them find employment.
